THE SWEMGAT STORY started during the autumn of 1998 in Pretoria.

You know what, actually the story started much earlier in the 80s when a boy nicknamed "Fish" by his primary school principal, won the 50m breaststroke at the local Swimming Club's annual gala.

"Fish" really loves water and swimming!

Years later when "Fish" completed construction of a new swimming pool for a family with two young boys in Pretoria in 2006, he recognised the one thing what he most enjoy about the swimming pool industry - hearing the sound of children playing in water.

Today, "Fish" and the Swemgat team's goal is to help create outdoor entertainment areas where families can relax at home and have fun together.
