Installing Printed Tissue Paper Motifs on Fibreglass Pool Floors

Our printed tissue sheets feature a blue compass motif, a striking design showing the four cardinal directions. Applied to the floor of the swimming pool, this compass pattern transforms an ordinary surface into a unique focal point, giving swimmers a sense of direction and a touch of artistry every time they look down.

Installation Process (Fibreglass Pools):

• Prepare the surface: Sand down the fibreglass floor surface (whether old, or new that has stood longer than 12 hours) to remove the thin “wax layer.”
  
  
• Apply background coat: Brush on a white top coat or another contrasting colour over the sanded area to provide a clean, bright background. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
  
  
• Attach the motif: Apply a coat of clear top coat, then carefully place and smooth the printed tissue compass design onto it.
  
  
• Seal the design: Cover the motif with several layers of clear top coat, letting each layer dry fully before adding the next. This ensures the design is protected under a durable, glossy finish.
  
  
• Finish the pool: Once the compass motif is sealed, mask off the decorated area if needed, and apply the final top coat (commonly white or blue) to the surrounding pool surfaces for a uniform finish.
