Preparation:
- Surfaces must be clean and dry before painting
- Thick coatings take longer to through dry and thus to overcoat
- De-grease, clean and apply one coat primer before applying enamel topcoats
Painting of old surfaces:
- Enamel paint: Strip off and treat as new work.
- Old enamel: Abrade lightly and re-coat
