Zodiac AX20 Pool Cleaner Engine Assembly

The Zodiac AX20 Engine Assembly is a replacement drive component for the Zodiac AX20 / AX20 Activ suction pool cleaner. It helps restore cleaner movement, navigation and cleaning performance when the internal mechanism is worn or damaged.

When Should You Replace the AX20 Engine?

You may need a new engine assembly if:

• The AX20 is not moving through the pool
• The cleaner moves slowly even when suction is correct
• The cleaner gets stuck or no longer follows its normal cleaning pattern
• The internal mechanism is visibly worn, cracked or damaged
• Other parts such as tracks, wheels or hoses are still in usable condition
• The cleaner body is still good, but the drive system is failing

Before replacing the engine, also check the pool pump suction, filter pressure, hoses, tracks, wheels and gearboxes. Poor cleaner movement can also be caused by weak suction, blocked baskets, a dirty filter, worn tracks or damaged gearboxes.
