- Installation of pool lighting is best done with the power off for safety
- Remove the old light from the underwater housing by putting a flat screwdriver between the built-in housing and the face plate.
- Connect the cable of the new light to the existing wire. 12 Volt wires can come in contact with the water, though it is not ideal as it can lead to rust.
- Press the light evenly by hand into the hole and push it on the edges to insert it completely

NB: If your concrete or brick wall pool doesn’t have existing pool lighting you will need to install the light housing. Installation on existing pools can be done though you will need to drain the pool to install the housing and wiring
