Africhem Chlorine Protector contains Isocyanuric Acid, a chemical that act as "sun tan lotion" for chlorine. Test the Isocyanuric Acid levels every season.
Ideal level of Isocyanuric Acid is 30-50ppm [parts per million]. Isocyanuric Acid is also referred to as "stabilizer".
To achieve optimum chlorine stabilizer levels in newly filled pools, add 1kg Africhem Chlorine Protector per 50 000L water to raises the Isocyanuric level with 50ppm.
