What is the function of a pool chlorinator? 

It converts salt to chlorine gas for effortless pool maintenance and provides a silky smooth experience for sensitive skin.

How much salt does a chlorinator use?

• Initially about 25kg pool salt is required per 5000 Liter pool water
  
• Thereafter only salt that is washed out through waste water should be replaced (normally not more than 20kg every 6 months for a 40 000 Liter pool), but salt test strips should be used to determine the actual requirement for the chlorinator installed (refer to the owners manual to view desired salt levels)
