The Baracuda Neo HP60 Inverter Pool Heat Pump is designed for serious residential pool heating where performance, efficiency and quiet operation matter.
With smart inverter technology, the Neo HP60 automatically adjusts its compressor output according to heating demand. This helps maintain a stable pool temperature while reducing unnecessary electricity use compared with traditional fixed-speed pool heaters.
The HP60 uses R32 refrigerant, has a certified A+ energy rating, offers WiFi smartphone control, and includes a smart LCD touch display for simple operation. It is also solar-ready, making it a strong choice for homeowners who want efficient electric pool heating with the option to integrate with solar energy systems.
Under warm test conditions, the Baracuda Neo HP60 delivers a heating capacity range of 8.7kW to 24.6kW, with a power input range of 0.71kW to 3.89kW and COP performance of 12.25 to 6.32. Under cooler test conditions, it delivers 7kW to 19.1kW heating capacity, with power input of 0.99kW to 3.98kW and COP of 7.07 to 4.80.
For best performance, use the HP60 with a solar pool cover or thermal blanket. The official performance table is based on a solar cover being in use, so running the heat pump on an uncovered pool will reduce heating performance and increase electricity consumption.
