Cemcrete Poolcrete is a cement-based swimming pool plaster finish used as the final interior lining for concrete swimming pools. It provides a durable, attractive pool surface and is commonly used as an alternative to traditional marbelite-type pool plaster finishes.

Poolcrete is suitable for new concrete pools as well as resurfacing projects where the existing pool surface has been properly prepared. It is applied as a plaster coating to create a smooth, water-resistant swimming pool finish.

Key Features

  • 40kg bag
  • Cement-based swimming pool plaster finish
  • Suitable for concrete swimming pools
  • Used for new pools and pool resurfacing projects
  • Provides a durable interior pool finish
  • Available in different colour options, depending on stock availability
  • Approximate coverage: about 2m² per 40kg bag, depending on surface condition and application thickness

Important Application Notes

Pool plastering is a skilled job and should be completed in one continuous application where possible. The pool shell must be clean, firm, and correctly prepared before application. For best results, use experienced pool plaster applicators and follow Cemcrete’s official mixing and application instructions.

  • Replastering old marbelite-style surfaces
  • Builders and pool contractors looking for a professional plaster finish

Minimum order quantity: 10 bags

"Marblite" or Cemcrete Poolcrete is a swimming pool plaster tinted to a variety of colours such as white blue and charcoal. Various other colours can be blended to suit the customers requirements.

40kg bag covers = 2m²

Surface Preparation:

The area should be clean, dry and stable. Old marblite should be chipped (use chipping hammers) to ensure proper bonding.

Marblite is transformed into a algae resistant finish that displays significant propensity to inhibit the growth of a wide variety of algae on the surface of the pool. This technology is a "first of its kind" in swimming pool surfacing.

Application

Apply by trowel to a thickness of 8 to 10 mm. Allow the plaster to dry properly until filling the pool the next day with water.
