Recommended Times to Rinse, Deep Clean and Replace Emaux Pool Cartridges

Quick Rinse
Every 2 to 4 weeks during swimming season (more often if there’s lots of pollen, dust, or after a storm) or when the water flow drops.

Deep Chemical Clean is recommended every 3 months or at least twice a year. That is required when the filter looks stained even after rinsing. Other indicators that deep cleaning with a high-pressure hose is required, is persistent cloudy pool water.

Replacement is required every 1 to 2 years (or sooner if the fabric tears or pleats collapse)

Emaux swimming pool filter have an Inner diameter of 77mm and outer diameter of 185mm, its is only the lengths that differ between the models. The cartridges come in different lengths to fit various models: 25 ft (184 mm), 50 ft (364 mm), 75 ft (544 mm), 100 ft (724 mm), 150 ft (904 mm), and 200 ft (1091 mm).
