General use of the PVC filter tank fitting for swimming pool pump systems:
- Inside sand filters to connect with the two pipes from the Multi Port Valve
- Also used as adaptor to glue onto PVC pipe, giving a 40mm threaded hole
- Use in combination with a 40mm to 20mm nylon reducing bush and 20mm Vacuum breaker for solar pool heating systems
