Metalrite Rust remover 5L

Metalrite Rust remover is a double strength rust remover
that cleans, de-rusts and phosphates metal.

Intended Uses:

It can be used on all metal articles, roofs, fences, gates, burglar
bars, handrails, structural steel, outdoor structures etc.

Does three jobs in one treatment:
1. It dissolves rust.
2. Retards further rusting, which prolongs metal life.
3. Prepares surface for paint, by providing a bond between
the metal surfaces and the paint.

Surface Preparation:

BRUSHING

Always remove superfluous oil or grease before applying
Metalrite Rust remover
Parts which are too big to be dipped, can be cleaned by
applying Metalrite Rust remover with steel wool or an
ordinary brush.

Leave the Metalrite Rust remover for a few minutes
on the metal surface, then wipe off with a cloth or allow
to dry for better protection.
 If heavily rusted, a second application may be necessary.

Application Details:

Mixing A concentrated solution - Add water
Method Steel wool or ordinary brush
Thinning Dipping: Add 3-4 parts water
Brushing: Add 2-3 parts water
Application Above depends upon the amount of rust and dirt on the surface

IMPORTANT:

Wash surface properly with water after using Metalrite Rust remover before painting.
This will ensure that all surfactants in Metalrite Rust remover are removed.
Recommended that metal is over coated as soon as
possible with the correct primer.
