Pool pump Capacitor with wire (select size)

The capacitor provides the "startup energy" for the motor. Replace the capacitor when the shaft can be spun freely when turned by hand; and a the motor makes a 'buzz' or 'humming' noise.

Replace old capacitors with an exact match to the 'MF' value (Micro Farad).

The sizes of capacitors normally used in pool pumps:

• 0.6kw pump: 16 / 20mf

•   0.75kw pump: 25mf

• 1.1kw pump: 30mf

• 1.5kw pump: 40mf
