Africhem Oxidise is a complete chlorine replacement product, eliminates green algae, bleaches unsightly stains. 

The product is a premium pool oxidiser that rapidly clears dull or smelly water by breaking down organic waste (body oils, sunscreen, sweat) that standard chlorination struggles to remove. Use it weekly or after heavy use/rain to revive clarity, reduce irritation, and keep your water fresh.

Key Functions

• Sanitises & clarifies: Oxidises and breaks down organic waste, bacteria, and algae to keep water crystal clear.
• Combats chloramines: Eliminates chloramines (the real cause of the “chlorine smell” and eye irritation).
• Shock treatment: Works as a fast shock to restore water quality; select formulations are peroxide-based and chlorine-free.
• Removes stains: Helps bleach and lift algae stains, especially on light surfaces.

How It Works

• Oxygen release: Oxidisers release active oxygen that “burns up” contaminants.
• Deep clean: As a shock, it chemically destroys impurities introduced by swimmers and the environment.

Important Considerations

• Chlorine replacement option: Africhem Oxidise 50% (Peroxide) is designed for systems that run peroxide as a complete chlorine replacement. Do not combine with chlorine systems.
• Follow the label: Use the correct dosage and application for best results.
• Re-entry time: After dosing, circulate and wait before swimming. As a guideline, peroxide shocks typically require 4–6 hours (or as directed on the pack).
• System compatibility: Safe for salt, fibreglass, marblite, and plaster pools. Test and balance pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer after treatment.

When To Use

• After pool parties, heavy bather load, or summer storms
• When water looks dull/cloudy or smells strongly of “chlorine”
• As part of a weekly maintenance routine

Directions 

1. Run the pump.
2. Dose Africhem Oxidise evenly around the pool.
3. Circulate 24 hours.
4. Retest and re-balance pH, and alkalinity.
