Fibreglass for swimming pool linings - 450gsm Matt

Coverage:

• Every square meter (m2) of the matt weighs about 450 gram
• A 40kg roll of fibreglass mat equals about 88 square meters (m2)
• To the 80m2 of 40kg roll of fibreglass mat covers will actually provide a lining for about 70m2 of pool surface area after an allowance for overlapping and a bit for wastage are included.
  
  

Other materials used with matt:

• Resin that is used as a "primer" and "laminating glue" for the matt onto the interior surface of the pool
  
• Top Coat that "protects" the hardened resin and fibreglass matt from water and to provide a glossy finish
  
• Optional, but highly recommended: Clear surface tissue that is laminated on top of matt to ensure a stronger, smoother surface of fibreglass lining for your swimming pool.
• Surface tissue is the material on which motifs for fibreglass and mosaic patterns are printed on   
• Fibreglass putty powder
• Catalyst that is added in very small quantities to resin and top coats to "chemically activate" the liquids to harden and solidify
• Acetone used for cleaning
